The best juicers are the masticating kind (that took forever to find in the dictionary ) like that Omega, and where the juice and pulp go out continuously without having to stop.

This is extremely yummy, even though it looks terrible!

Green Lemonade

Juice the following:

1 head romaine lettuce (celery second best, or can be 50/50; celery has natural sodium, if you're watching that)
5 to 6 stalks kale (or any type of dark green vege, best to rotate)
1 to 2 apples (as needed for sweetness; Fuji recommended in original recipe)
1 whole organic lemon (don't have to peel it, but might want to try without peel first)
1 to 2 inches fresh ginger (optional; try without first)

So for something quick to juice: a leafy lettuce, a dark green leafy vege, one apple, one lemon.

I cut it 50/50 with water, and I love the taste...it's just like lemonade.

thanks again Rose I will copy that recipe and thanks for the advice on juicers..I have one but it's old and it is time for a new one..WOW my house just shook..I live close to an airport on the island and we have jets that land here from time to time..that baby was low!!

maybe he was taking landing lessons!!
