well I finally did it!!

I really blew my top tonight!! It was the last straw I came home from having a little dinner out with hubby and found a nasty note taped to our door from a neighbor. We live in Michigan and things are getting out of control here..instead of wanting to try to help one another it's turned into every one for themselves..tempers are flaring and people are very cold I will be happy when we move ..I hope we can get a place in the country with the closet neighbor living five miles away..LOL

so what do you do with that note? Call the cops?

or just kill a chicken and hang it on their front porch..?


I guess maybe it depends on the neighborhood huh..

what is really bad is the fact that we live in a community of professional people..all college educated and they run around acting like hateful loons..

good, because really, it needs to be reported at the very least.

that's what 'they' want to happen..

we had problems when we first moved here 10 yrs ago..a neighbor at that time posted a nasty note on our door..my husband was younger and healthier at that time and he took care of that!! when we closed on our home 1o yrs ago..at the closing the realtor came right out and asked us if we where of a certain religious group..all because of our last name...I have been asked several times since we have been married if I am of this certain religion...all because of a last name...

Exactly, then they would be able to impose "laws" that under any other circumstance would be considered outrageous, but they would be doing it to "protect us from ourselves".

our last name is jewish. my husband's family converted to christianity a couple of generations ago..

Big Foot in Iowa..well if it's a good hiding place for him then it is for me too!! BTW just thinking back to last weekend ..we took a little ride in the country and we still saw corn that wasn't harvested yet..me and hubby both remarked about it..

actually, this summer has been so weird that the farmers are harvesting early..some of them anyways..like two months early..I'm not sure what that means, did the corn just not grow enough and the farmers are calling it a loss?
